Jamila Sabares-Klemm is a Filipinx-American activist, actor, and singer based in New York City. She most recently starred as Eliza Hamilton in the hit Broadway show Hamilton at the CIBC Theatre in Chicago. Other credits include: Hair (First National Tour), The Prince of Egypt (World Premiere), Rent (Bristol Riverside Theatre), Miss Saigon (Flat Rock Playhouse), The King and I(Chicago Lyric Opera), Spamalot (Farmers Alley), In The Heights (TUTS), A Christmas Carol (McCarter Theatre), Macbeth (New York Classical), Sweeney Todd (Hangar Theatre). She believes that another world is not only possible, but necessary and wants to use her art in the fight for the true liberation of all people.
